Re-introduction of Cheer Pheasant

Dhodial Pheasantry is successfully raising cheer Pheasant in captivity for its re-introduction in local suitable habitat. So for, over hundred pears have been raised as parent flock in this facility. Re-introduction is mainly done with the help of local communities. People living around potential habitat have been organized for this purpose. Eggs and chicks are being distributed so as to shift the birds in near by habitat which may either be wild escaped into the habitat or other wise released.
